Share the Love Charity Event is proud to announce that Caddyshack of Palm Desert, is the Presenting Sponsor for our 2012 Event!  This wonderful gesture of generosity and outreach will certainly help us reach our goal to grant at least 25 wishes to our local ‘wish kids’.  We wish to express our most sincere thanks and appreciation to Caddyshack for making a difference in the lives of these special children!

Before reading about our exciting and enhanced 2012 Event, we must take a moment to review what has been accomplished so far.

Thank you for helping us make 2011 our biggest and most successful Event! We are pleased to report that we have raised more than $300,000 for our Coachella Valley ‘wish kids’. Without the continued support of our Community and Supporters, these special wishes would not have been granted. Together, we have made a difference in the lives of more than 40 children and their families.

Our 5th Annual Share the Love Charity Event will once again benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation® and our local ‘wish kids’. We believe that our 2012 Event will be the most memorable yet! We are excited to announce that this year’s Golf Tournament will be hosted at Porcupine Creek, the private Estate and Golf course owned by Mr. Larry Ellison. This is the first year that Mr. Ellison has opened his magical property for a Charity Event and we are honored that the Share the Love Charity Event Golf Tournament was selected for this very special inaugural opportunity. But there’s more good news! Over the years, we’ve had many requests for another type of activity, other than Golf and Tennis, so that more people can participate. So this year, we are introducing a walk. But this won’t be any ordinary walk. In the spirit of style and fun, we have some surprises planned for those who join us for the “Shop for Wishes” on El Paseo. But don’t worry, we will still have our Doubles Tennis Tournament at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. And of course, we’ll top off this year’s Event with a sumptuous Sit-Down Dinner, Auctions and surprises.

Because each of these Events will be held on different days, you have the option of participating in all 3 of the activities or just 1 or 2. And as always, should you not wish to join in any of the physical activities, you can choose to simply join us at the Evening Event for the Dinner and Auctions.

Mark your calendars now for February 18, 19, & 20th. The walk will be held on Saturday, the 18th. The Tennis Tournament will be on Sunday, the 19th, and the Golf Tournament will be on Monday, the 20th. Our Evening Event will be held on Sunday, February 19th at the La Quinta Resort & Club in the Las Flores Ballroom.


We also ask that you help us spread the word now and share the power of a wish® by asking others to join us. Please do your part by starting to get a table or two for the Evening Event or a golf 4-some or a group for tennis. And for those joining in the “Shop for Wishes” Walk, it is so easy to ask others to sponsor your walk to help raise more money to make more wishes come true!

Our kids need our help and this is the premier fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation in the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire. This year, our goal is to raise enough money to grant the wishes for 25 local ‘wish kids.

If you haven’t done so already, please view our “Wish Kid” Photo Albums from the past 3 years. You will be able to see some of the children, who you have helped, and read their stories. Most importantly, you’ll be able to see their smiles and realize how much these wishes have meant to them and their families.

Please check back at the end of November to register for the various Events. Space for the Golf Tournament is limited to 72 Players so early registration is advised since this is a very special opportunity to experience Porcupine Creek. Likewise, space is also limited for our Tennis Tournament and this is a popular event so early registration is recommended.


Closer to our event, we will begin cataloging the auction items, on this website, so please make sure to continue to check back and preview the wonderful items that will be available at our Evening Event. We look forward to seeing you and your group in February, 2012. Please join us as we share the love and help make a difference in the lives of some pretty special ‘wish kids’ and their families.
